I have a 72 Challenger with the 5.9L engine, trans and PCM from a 3500Ran/Van. I want to get the most performance with a different controller. The Van must limit the performance. The 1st gear acceleration is low, the cruise control drops out at 73MPH and the engine shuts down at 93MPH.

 

Not sure of differences, but I can tell you that in a 99 Durango the cruise control doesn't stop at 73 and the engine doesn't shut off at 93.

 

Thanks, I think the restriction is due to the large van.
I purchased a Durango controller but the fuel injection is inhibited so it doesn't work. There must be a sensor inhibit not part of the 3500Ran/Van wiring. Any clues?
