I had the same codes for my Dodge Durango 2003. I found that some breather hoses on the engine compartment and I replaced the PCV valve and the codes went away.
Agree with everyone so far, sounds to me like a totally different issue. Likely wouldn't be an expensive or difficult thing to fix yourself, the hard part is finding the problem.
Leak detection pump or hoses can be bad too. On my quad cab Dakota, it's located below the drivers seat, under the truck.
Forgot about this thread. Shortly after writing that, I replaced the LDP with one from a 2009 PT Cruiser that was in the junkyard. Same pump, just newer and probably less miles. I haven't had CEL since. These Chrysler products share a lot of parts across models. The LDP is shared across many vehicles.

Purge Solenoid Valves are the same way, except for mounting differences. Same part though.
