Default 2002 Durango R/T – Side mirror

2002 Durango R/T – Side mirror

Hi,
I’m looking for a complete assembly OEM side mirror (driver side) for my car.
I’ve been looking online for some time now, without luck.
And bequase i live in Sweden i can’t go to any autoshop and pick it of the shelf, 99,9% is european car parts.
I can’t figure out the proper part number…
Maybe you guy scan help me out?

The Car:
Dodge Durango 2002, 4WD, R/T 5.9L GAS
V.I.N1 B4HS78Z12F30XXX

Thebroken side mirror:
Powermirror, heated, no signal lamp, fold away type
big (big compared to other durangos..?)
the glassmirror dimensions: height=13,9cm =5,47 inch
Width=24,7cm =9,72 inch
The electrical contact is a plug for 8 "pins", but only 4 wires connected on the mirror side.

Any help is much appreciated.

/Gascreek

it sounds to me like you need a left hand (drivers side) folding tow mirror without heat (no little heat symbol in the lower corner, and only 4 wires in the plug)

should be part #55077293AB, OR 55077293AD
(Actually the AB/AD suffix shouldnt matter)

if you can order from rockauto.com in sweden they have a bunch of options for you.

I don't know the exact dimensions of the mirrors, but the early durangos big mirrors were different than the late durango mirrors. Early I would guess being 98-2000 late i would guess 01-03. The small mirrors were the same all 5 years. Just something to consider when looking. The early mirrors were called the "dumbo mirrors" and are big and rounded.

The 98-00 and 01-03 smaller "sport" mirrors look the same, but have different electrical connectors.

Now you say the mirrors are heated, but those would have 5 wires for the heated ones. Here are the mirror pinouts. Top is 98-00 and bottom is 01-03.
