I have a 2000 dodge Durango with 5.9 liter v8 magnum motor 2wheels drive and the truck just keeps cutting out and it doesn't matter where it's at in the road and does but 10-15 min sometimes an hour matter of will start and the only thing I get on the dash where the code pops up is NO BUS it will not pop up any kind of codes except for a misfire in the 5 th cylinder that has been happenin g since I got the car over two years ago. I need help how do I did this issue

 

does it do this primarily when its hot out?

does it restart when it stalls out?

if the answer to the first question is yes and the second question no then it sounds like your PCM is overheating, more common on 98 -00 trucks, especially dark colored ones in the summer. but more information about what is going on when it cuts out would be helpfull as well as wha tit does after it shuts off.

 

I just read the same issue in another thread. He said he changed his pcm and everything was good after that.
