Check gages light came on yesterday. When you turn it off and on, it disappears and comes back later. Looking at the gages, when the light turns on, the battery gages goes all the way to the left. Now, the engine is making a hissing noise when turn on and when you accelerate. Does anybody knows what's wrong?

 

You posted in the wrong spot, (but, I'll move the thread) and your alternator isn't charging. So, either a bad alternator, or a failed voltage regulator. Remove the alt, get it tested. If it fails, replace it it. If it doesn't, bad pcm. Either replace the pcm, or install an external voltage regulator.
