Default Governor solenoid houseing

Hello every one. I have a 98 durango with the 46re transmition, I've recently been having trouble with the trans not shifting properly so I dropped the oil pan of the transmition and the fluid was horrible obviously that's bad the magnet had a good 3/16 of mental shavings or dust on it. I am in the process of replacing the governor pressure solenoid and the transducer. My problem is I can not get the transducer out of the houseing. It seems to be locked in there an I believe it should just pop right out. Any advise on how to remove it or why it's stuck in there would really be appreciated. Along with any other ideas about the extensive amount of metal shavings on the magnet an what to do about that. Thanks again.

There is a metal clip that holds it in place. Should be just one bolt holding the clip on.....
