Default Interior Relay Clicking

I've got a 2000 Durango 4x4 with a 5.9L engine. The other day, when I tried to start it, it fired up, but just for a second and died, like it wasn't getting fuel and I noticed a clicking sound coming from the fuse panel behind the driver's door. It turned out to be the relay clicking. Replaced the relay and it fired right up and ran fine. Today, opened the door and noticed the same clicking sound and have the same problem with not starting. Any ideas??

Not sure. if anyone has a diagram for the interior fuse box layout, I would appreciated it. Only the fuses are shown on the interior fuse door.

Found a diagram and it shows it to be the horn relay. So the horn relay is clicking, sounds similar to a turn signal flasher and the Durango won't fire. I've got both spark and fuel pressure, but won't start up.

Horn relay? That's just odd......

Are you getting injector pulse? Can probably rent a noid light from your local parts store to test that.....

I figured it out last night. Noticed the dash security light flashing with the relay, so I locked and unlocked the drivers door a few times with the key and the light went off. Fired right up after that and the clicking noise stopped. I'm guessing the light is controlled by that relay? Anyways, no clicking, no flashing light and it drives just fine now.

Ah, security system.... both bane, and boon..... Likely the security system was wanting to honk the horn...... does your horn actually work?
