Ya you are right about the pressure. Although the computer auto adjusts air and fuel mixture at different altitudes. But I can still SMOKE EM at 10,000 feet. You got to remember I have a custom built motor, tuned in transmission, 392 gears. I can burn my tires right of the rims. When I shift my tires chirp from no loss of power. In essence my truck will throw you in your seat smack the back of your head and throw your heart into your stomach. You just need some upgrades, and find out which gears ratio's you have.

It must be my 355 gear ratio, not letting me smoke the tires. My Durango breaks traction and I get a howl out of the tires but not up in smoke. The thing launches like a leppard. I have Wrangler AT/S tires and they get great traction.

if you have an AWD Durango no matter how power you have you are goin to have a hard time lightin' your rubber up. Unless You have added a little extra power or change your tire size.

Well its not a Durango, but mine is All time High 4x4 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited and it will smoke all four tires. My dad has the 98 with the 5.9 in it and it will do the same thing also.

A supercharger is the ticket. I'll have to get me one.

I can burn my right one down to slick's all i gotta do is powerbrake it, it's simple just start rolling slowly, then lightly tap on the brake an push the gas, alot easier if you're on black top though.. or :P those white line's at a stop sign or redlight are awesome at about 1 am when the dew hits them u can sit there an smoke em down with out pushin the brakes hehe

i'v got the same, those are some great tires huh? offroad an street. But i never really have a problem smokin them, I'm honestly pretty sure i could even in 4x4 but considering the rust i'm dealing with at the moment on my suspenion an drivetrain i would be too afraid to try it, my luck i'd end up breakin something that'll cost me my first born an my left nut at the same time.
