Default body control module

Hey people. I am at my wits end with a 03 Durango. key fob doesn't work. headlights flash. service all wheel drive light comes on . and goes off after 20- 30 mins . found and removed the BCM from left hand kick panel. unplugged it and found lowest least terminal count plug covered in green corrosion. cleaned with a good safe cleaner. and key fob after a lot of tries finally came back . but the wipers don't always work on delay. until after a period of time passes. . then I found another. bcm with same numbers and the last 2 letters were different. plugged it in and nothing was different on the truck except for i cant get the key fobs back to functioning for nothing this thing is so involved in the whole vehicle. even the a/c system is effected during the time the bcm acts up what actually has to happen if you find another BCM to put in it. is there a flash that has to happen. or is there another way?

It's called a CTM in these trucks, Central Timer Module, and all your symptoms point to it. The only fix to your problem is get one from a junk yard or eBay with the exact same part number as you presently have (last letter equal or higher). After installing that, you'll have to get the key fobs programmed in my a dealer with their DRB3 tool. I went through this twice in past few years. I drove mine for a few days before doing the dealer to be sure all other aspects were ok with the new box. It under the drivers foot well side panel.

Thank you Jeeper Don, That is what I was afraid of. So the CTM0 in the truck is P56049073AG. The CTM I have gotten for the truck is P56049073AK. so I should be ok correct?

Yup. If everything works as it should, chat with the dealer, and get your fobs programmed.

"should be ok?", yes, but apparently it is not as you would not be having wiper issues and such. As I said, other than key fobs, every single aspect of the truck should work fine with it just plugged in. Wiper delay, dome lights dimming after doors close, headlights timing out when left on, VTSS working (if you have it), everything. If you have any issues with the new one other than fobs, it's bad, so don't waste money at the dealer.
