durango no start

Default durango no start

2005 durango 4.7l no start .. 1st fuel pump stoped an now when you turn key over it clicks an lights flash on dash .. no power to starter or fuel relays or fuel fuse an asd relay need help

its a new one maybe 2 weeks old but needs to be charged from trying to start it .. the old battery the positive post was seperated from the battery plastic an cable end was bad corroded

Put a good charge on the battery. Then just cycle the key to On, and see if the fuel pump primes. If it doesn't, need to start with finding out why. (which may be as simple as a bad pump....)

charged it up an still doing same thing lile the battery is dead .. no power to the same relays an fuses still

Check battery connections. May wanna pull 'em, and give 'em a good cleaning. Also check the main fuses under the hood......

finaly got my durango to turn over but still no start .. what can i do to show its the fuel pump an npt the wiring tp the fuel pump ?

Have a friend help you, and see if you are getting power thru that circuit.

Reach up on top of the gas tank, and unplug the connector for the pump module. Need to consult a wiring diagram, and see which two wires are for the pump itself...... put a meter across those two wires, and have friend turn the ignition on. See if you get 12 volts across the wires.
