2000 Dodge Durango R/T 5.9 Electrical problems
Skip to bottom for problem. I added the story for full detail and to maybe help the people having emission and starting problem.
So it all started when my Durango didnt pass emissions (NOx to high). The morning after, it died and i could not get it to start back up (crank but no start). I thought that it might've been the fuel pump, so I decided to replace the cheap part and work my way up. I replaced the Spark Plugs, Distributor Cap, IAC Valve, TPS, CPS, and finally the Ignition Coil (which was the culprit (and most likely the reason why it failed emissions (bad spark, runs lean, high NOx)). My durango had been sitting for a little more than 2 months with a dead battery, so I had to jump it every time I wanted to check if would start after working on it.
Now for the problem. When ever I turn on my left turn signal, my gauges would stop working (ONLY for as long as the signal is on). My right turn signal just freezes the gauges where it sits and the odometer dims away and eventually say no bus. My hazards will completely shut of my gauges.
