Default 2003 dodge Durango 4x4

I am trying to reset my pcm & I have been reading for hours on the dodge forum that I buckle seatbelt, remove the pcm fuse, turn key but don't start, wait for 2 chimes, replace on fuse and start vehicle. I've looked at my fuse box and there isn't a pcm fuse and the fuses aren't numbered. Please help!

Generally speaking, disconnecting the battery for 15-20 minutes will reset the PCM. I’ve never heard of the sequence you describe. What is the issue you are having that you feel the need to reset the PCM?

I was on dodge talk earlier and everyone was saying that the way I described above was the right way to reset the pcm from the dodge Manuel. They all were saying to disconnect the positive post and ground it to the negative post for 15-20.seconds, hook battery back up, take the pcm fuse out, turn the key on but mot start the car and you'll hear 2 chimes, replace the fuse and start the car and the pcm will be reset. I've looked at all fuses and relays and mone of them say pcm or ecm and they aren't numbered either. I can copy what I read from that forum and show u

sorry, I meant to answer you in the last message. My car battery just died on me while driving. I've put a new alternator, egr valve, plugs, wires, ignition coil, water pump, new pcm, new battery sensor and a tin more and I'm just trying to get it to stay running and it's like my alternator just isn't doing it's job and it's new. So therefore I was told that I was suppose to reset the pcm after changing things on the car... I jist want it to stay running. The battery is new and the gauges go crazy my battery gauge goes to zero while driving but it still drives and today it died at a stop sign and the battery was just dead. I really don't know what to do so I was going to reset the pcm to see if that would help because that's what was suggested I do

Have you had the charging system tested? Are the battery connections and wiring in good condition?

Any more information maybe like what engine? My guess is 4.7, as 5.2 & 5.9's this gen didn't have EGR valves. Just might help clear things up for people trying to assist you in what's going on.
