Default 2001 Radio cuts off when adjusting steering wheel

My radio cuts off when I adjust my steering wheel. Any suggestions on a fix.? Also my rear heat won't get hot. Blows cold air.

Do you have steering wheel radio controls? Might have something to do with that wiring if you do, or the clockspring. Not too sure. As for rear heat, tons of threads here on DF you can look to. It's usually your auxiliary electric water pump. Mounts on the firewall passenger side. Check for power if the pump isn't working. If you have power and no pump running, replace it. No power, find out why. If the pump is bad it may blow the fuse.

Default Sounds logical...

I appreciate the clues. Yes it has radio controls on the steering wheel. I will check that auxiliary pump in the morning. Thank you...

Not a problem. The auxiliary pump going bad I've found to be fairly common with age on these trucks, and mine doesn't even have one. I just hear about them all the time
