Hi everyone I'm new here and I could really use some help. I have a 98 durango 4x4 5.9l with 251k miles the trans temp light and over drive light come when just sitting with the key in the on position. bought it In the Hope's of just a simple trans swap turned into a nightmare. So far I have replaced the trans with a rebuilt trans, replaced all solenoids, checked all speed sensors, checked all cooler lines. But still ending in the same result trans temp light and o/d off light on

Wonder if you have the wrong electronics in the trans....... Would be interesting to plug in with a good scanner, and see what the PCM thinks trans temp is, when stone cold....... May just be a bad sensor as well.
