brakes failed
HI all,
I got lucky. I was stopped at a light, adjusted myself and the brake pedal went to to the ground.
I can feel a bit of brakes all the way at the bottom of the stroke.
Under the hood there is brake fluid everywhere.
Master cylinder?
Is this a common problem? anything I should be aware of before attempting a fix?

Nope. My dad was a terrible mechanic but he taught me it's better not to have your engine work thank your brakes.

when you say a line pop, you mean a brake line failed? they're copper or something. they shouldn't corrode right?
the fluid is all over the bottom of the brake booster

first gotta determine where exactly it’s leaking from. Gonna have to get under there. I’ve seen old brake lines corrod before at the banjo bolt, and replacing them is rather easy. Bleeding the brakes, with an ABS module isn’t however, at least with me it’s always been a pain. Once when you find the leak, just post some pics, we will help.
Ouch. That’s gonna be a PITA.
Im not that familiar with Dodge, but I do know on the 1st Gen Chevys(OBS) it was common for the brake booster itself to go out. Not saying that’s your case, your lines do look like they have had better days. Waiting for others input.
