Default 545RFE throwing DTC 0750 in limp mode

Hey y'all, i hope one you transmission guys , or someone who knows more than myself, can help shed some light... trk is 2003 rango 4x4.. 4.7.. w/ 545RFE.. ...put in drive, it seems to not fully engage..slipping.. but will move. Pull down to 2nd or 1st and its all there tho i dont know if its starting in low or not. Reverse is strong also. I plug in scanner, and it immediately says trans in limp mode, and throws DTC 0750.. any insight is most appreciated thanks

Either bad shift solenoid or a wiring issue. Better to go through the diagnostics first to rule out wiring to the trans before swapping parts. If all checks out, you'll most likely need to replace the solenoid pack.

...UPDATE.. after dropping pans on both trans, and both seeming in great shape judging by the tell tales, i dropped both valve bodies and swapped shift solenoid pack from donor trans into the unit in the durango. Upon firing it back up, first thing i noticed, trans no longer in limp mode. Momentarily threw a line pressure code, then all clear. Truck runs and shifts like a champ
