Default 2003 dodge durango rt 5.9: what type of battery I should use?

I ended up with a battery from Canadian tire a year ago. I feel it's to small for the 5.9L there is a lot of space in the battery box.

are you having starting problems/slow crank issues? if your not having symptoms and the battery passes a load test I wouldn't worry about the demensions. as long as its secure in the battery tray.

my part guy says napa batteries in Canada are supplied by the same company as the dealer. definitely better than anything from crappy tire.

The price of lead has gone up and its reflected in battery prices.

If the battery itself is ok and secure don't change it, no need to. Don't fix what isn't broke.

Mostly a bit of a slow crank. Still working finding my vampire drain if I'm leaving the park for more then a week I disconnect the battery.
