Oh. The sway bar links are old and look rough. Ill look at them first.

check your drive shaft....just to be safe.

Check your pivot bars, on my '00 Durango (4wd) mine came loose and when going lock to lock with the steering wheel, you would hear/feel a clunk...it ended up eating my drivers front tire and inner tie rod....But as others have stated above if you can have someone run the steering while you crawl under its a good way to check things out.
