Tore the dash out of my 98 SLT, found the main vacuum line that runs everything twisted and kinked off, upon carefully untwisting the line, it broke. the smaller pvc line that is. For those that know, its the little guy that attaches to the hvac unit from the engine bay and down to what looks like a rectangular block that then feeds out to a larger vac line, black main line on the hvac unit. My question #1 is, can I bypass that little block on the hvac unit? And run a little larger line from the engine bay down to the hvac unit main line? Will that mess the vac pressures up? Honestly, its way easier to find the soft vac lines up here.

All my blend and mode doors inside the hvac unit are kinda gross. previous owner has replaced the heater core, think the blend door got soaked in antifreeze and it seems like its not sealing properly and kinda mangled. The mode door and fresh air door's foam components are pretty old and really crumbly. I have found the parts in the U.S.A. from an OE parts dealer, but I cannot order them because I live in Canada. I've looked across the net but can't seem to find anywhere that has ALL of these parts to get to Canada. I can find the blend door, but its the other doors I'm having issue with. Rockauto does not carry just the doors, or replacement foam pieces.
Does anyone know of a supplier that ships international? or a supplier from Canada?
