I have a 00 Durango and all 3 passenger doors the doom light doesn't come on. I have test the wires and when the door is open they seem to be working properly. What am i missing?

Does the light turn on manually, when you push it? It's "dome," btw.

From another forum.

"The tan/brown wire from all passenger doors join together in the driver door step plate area and they are soldered together, covered with a fabric tape which makes it corrode easily. You can find this connection in the area about where the driver seat bolts to the floor under the black plastic wire protector cover under the driver step plate. Fixed my problem immediately."

Yeah I've encountered several junctions like that. It's not a good way of doing things, but that's how they did it.
