What engine? Was it making any tapping or knocking noises? If not, might just be a bad sender. If it was tapping, might be sludge blocking the oil pickup in the sump.

4.7 and the normal cold start noises. I cleaned the pvc valve just to see if I could get any type of pressure but nothing. My luck it is something stuck in the pump, I say thr cuz of the way it dies immediately after firing

The sender is part # 5149097AA. It sits right above the oil filter, down under. You can remove it and thread in an oil pressure gauge to check the pressure. You can rent the pressure gauge for free at most auto parts. Of course, you gotta get it running to get pressure first. You might need to rent a fuel pressure tester too.

So I just replaced the oil pressure switch and it's still showing no oil pressure. Ibe tested the wires but didnt get a really good reading, so im got to retest the wires ( with a power prob ) and use my scanner to check oil pressure. If anyone knows something I don't plz lmk

So you got it running and still nothing? The engine would be making a racket with zero oil pressure and I don't mean just the lifters. I would check oil pressure with a manual gauge. You can also run some 5 min motor flush, like Motor Medic. If it's clogged up it might help, otherwise you will have to drop the oil pan.

Have you been running synthetic or conventional oil?

I run Valvoline high mileage with Lucas Oil the only difference is I use the stop leak instead of regular

Idk of it helps but my scanner reads the same if the trucks on or off

Stop leak in your oil? Now that doesn't sound like a good idea to me......

That might be the biggest contributor to your issue. The 4.7 has some very narrow oil passages. Stop leak = stop flow. If you have oil leaks, it's best just to fix them.
