Default No bus

So a friend of mine change the motor in his 2002 Durango now he's got a no bus code, it cranks over, he said you can hear the fuel pump kick on but the fuel is not going through the injectors and the dash is doing nothing. It's a nice vehicles and i don't want to see him scrap it over this. Can anyone help me out here

Pinched wire, or bad sensor. Anything on the 5 volt bus can cause it, which is pretty much every sensor on the engine.

I haven't been able to run ober there and scan is or test anything but I'll let him kno

He said he's got volts at the injectors. He also told me that the PCM is from the junkyard I don't know if the key and the PCM are talking I don't know anything about Dodge really

What color key?

Injectors and coil get power from the ASD relay. Should only see power for a few seconds at key on, then, only if the PCM sees the engine turning. (cam or crank sensor.)

yup I had a junkyard computer in my 01, would NOT run til I sent it (the junkyard copmputer) off to be reprogrammed.

now that you said something I remember reading something about having gto do that. Well I already let him kno so he can take the next step. thank you though
