I've got a 1999 D slt 5.2l V8 with a 97 Ram 1500 Laramie 5.2l 46re tranny
No Bus, 920, 921, 950, 999, ABS, check engine, gas light.
Replaced
Fuel filter/ pump, throttle position sensor, IAC sensor, all the others, crank sensor, spark plugs and wires, battery, multiple fuses n relays, my lovely wife tried to install a aftermarket radio in it and when I turned it over it started to smoke so I ripped it out. Ever since then I've been having nothing but additude from this freakin thing!! Recently it would just die going up hills or at a stop n go. I'd have to sit for about 1hr 30min then it would start again. Then the other day bam nothing so I replaced the starter nope nothing. So I ha to jump the starter straight to the battery to a push button thing. So far so good it's getting power from the computer to the bottom of the relay to the relay but not from the relay to the starter if that makes sense. Oh and nothing on my instrument cluster works at all. But my lights do.

Likely burnt some wires, and now things are shorting out. Need to inspect the harness in the dash..... Yeah, that's gonna be fun.
