I feel stupid for asking this, but I really don't feel like dropping it. Where is a good location to place a floor jack on the front of the vehicle so I can place jack stands on the frame rails? I'm used to vehicles with very defined points, so not really sure where I should go for. I tried jacking from the frame rail but I don't really have a place to put the jack stand then. 98 durango 5.2l 4x4

 

Front cross member, in the center. Jacks up both sides at the same time.

 

That cross member is too clean. I DEMAND you put some dirt on it. Some rust wouldn't hurt either.
