Default 46RE trans issues after TCC/OD solenoid replacement

I had issues with the torque converter because of my TCC solenoid and a p1740 code. I replaced the solenoid and now I have no reverse. Also the trans struggles a bit at low speed/ revs and shifts late. I have ruled out overfilling. Anybody know what the issue may be?

Did you drop the valve body to change the solenoid?

Yes, I did drop the valve body, just not all the way. I did not pull the park rod out. I was able to bring it down enough to get the new solenoid in place.

I know they thankfully didn’t, I checked and none came out. My current thought is to start with adjusting the cables. I also had the thought that it could be the accumulator piston. The thing practically fell out when i dropped the valve body down.
