I have a 2000 Durango with the illuminated entry option and it has a light in the Ignition Key coller I assume they call it.
I did a snippet and some hen scratching to give a visual as to what I came across

So on the bottom you have the main connector, On the L (Side closest) there is a 2 pin connector ( I thought that was the Key in ignition dingy thingy) Marked in RED
On the R Side Hidden from view there is a 4 Pin connection GREEN The 2 yellow or orange marked pins go to the Light bulb ( I tested bulb is good, the 2 blue marked pins ?? I do not know but on that 4 pin connector when I plug it in (It only has 2 wired that line up with the BLUE Pins) The key dingy thingy goes off I disconnect it and the dingy stops but there are no signs of any other wires puled out of connector by accident or anything. Am I missing something here or by chance have a bad ground some place
it is hard to find much of any info on this light or when it comes on or its wiring info.
