Sxt or sport
I need a gear shift cable and a shifter with the shift mechanism thing and my vehicle says sxt but when it comes up using vin it sometimes says sport depending on where I look for parts. Is there a difference I'm AG at the end AE or Al I have already bought one cable amd it broke again. My shifter has a connection througj what I believe is the neutral safety bit I saw one at the junkyard that attached rigjt on a ripple on the mechanism and not behind it where it keeps getting jammed. Can I take it out of the one in the junkyard and use it or does it have to e like the o e that I sorts I to tje black switch. Green coil or red.

 

Last two numbers are just the revision number. (or manufacture date, depending on what site you go to.) If the numbers are the same, it's the right part.

I would be real curious why they keep breaking though....
