2000 Durango Fuel pump/sending unit issues.
My wife was at the store and she was pulling out and all of a sudden the check engine light and dinger went off. The fuel gauge went from half to empty and the vehicle died it did start back up. This happened again about a week later. Could this be the start of a bad fuel pump. The durango has the original pump and it has 180000 miles. I did check the fuel relay and seems to be fine. 5.2 liter engine
