Default Need help with parts compatibility

Hey all,

Need a fast answer to a parts question. Will a 2003 Durango NV244 transfer case (4.7 l engine, dont have the trim level yet) work with a 2001 Durango (4.7 l engine SLT +) ? Or does another Dodge vehicle have the NV244 t-case that would work? I have a chance to get an '03 Durango for parts cheep and need the t-case for my wife's Diurango. I'll explain why in another post.

thanks in advance
Steve

Theoretically, that should work..... I don't know when the switched from lever on the floor, to buttons on the dash for shifting though. There may be differences there that make it incompatible.

2000 was floor mount shifter (Red is a '00) and 2001 and up was dash ****. Just worried about any 2002-2003 electrical changes as I have the 2001 to compare with. Ty again

I don't *think* they really changed much..... Could look at wiring diagrams here, and see if there are any differences....
