Default 46re Transmission Help Needed.

Rebuilding my transmission and valve body needing some help trying to located where a silver ball goes it feel out when I pulled the valve body from the transmission. I thought it might of went with the other ***** in the grooves but when I got to them the ***** was all there from what I could tell.

Need to know what size it is as well..... There are several in there, and not all the same size.... Service manual will tell ya which ones go where.

I'm not sure of service manual but I might can get a size for you. Also the ***** are all accounted for in the valve body splines I found a diagram to help me double check to make sure and with the exception of 3 silver ***** the rest was a brown color not sure if that helps. Let me run to my friends house and use his caliper and I'll try get the measurement as accurate as possible for you. 0.345 or close to is what he told me

Starting to think this ball isn't a check ball but something else I'm not figuring out. Can someone take a look at my photos maybe I'm overlooking it.

Ok I found where it goes idk if the forum stays alive long but if anyone runs into the same situation here is a photo not sure how the ball got out just by pulling the valve body from transmission

I didn't see your update, If anyone needs the ball locations check out this file, They start on page 111.
