Default Torsion Bar removal

I have a 2003 dodge durango sport. I have to replace the control arms, shock, inner and outer tie rods. I have all the parts and tools for that but I am running into trouble with the Torsion bar. Mine has a screw so a c-clamp like tool to loosen the key isn't absolutely necessary. Where I am running into trouble is, once I get the torsion bar out of the torsion bar key, after marking the bar, the key, and the screw of course, how do I remove it from the lower control arm? I can chop up the old control arm if necessary but I would prefer not to. Any methods and/or tools that you would recommend? I need specifics

Should be able to drive it out toward the rear of the truck. Big hammer, and a drift.

Are you talking about a hammer and a punch?

Yep. I have a bar that I use, that is flat on both ends, and around 3/4 inch diameter. It'll take some abuse..... and a three pound single-jack (BFH) can exert a lotta force.
