you might try running for awhile with the relay pulled out and see if the fuse blows. with the relay out this may seat a code in the computer but you already know why. With the relay out it will cut off power to the compressor clutch and it's wiring. This may cause some foggy windows and a little more humidity in the cab but it's only for test pruposes.

 

Tuesday afternoon, I replaced the relay and the fuse, so far so good, will see how long this lasts, will post results, thanks a lot for the help.

 

Well, it didn't last long, wife said once she got to work this morning the horn was not working, and she didn't turn anything on, i.e. heat, defrost, etc. Guess the Durango will have to be scanned. Any other suggestions?, thanks.

 

Fixed!!!! I unplugged one of the horns, replaced the fuse and it hasn't blown so far (5 days going). One of the horns must have gotten water in it. Engineers put the horns in a hostile enviroment (front grill), so word of caution, when washing your car be careful where you spray the water!! Thanks guys for all the helpful troubleshooting ideas.
