Default 98 Dodge Durango starts then stalls at idle

My 1998 Durango starts and then will not stay running when I remove foot from accelerator. My OBD 2 scan tool gave a code
of P0123 TPS input voltage high. I replaced TPS but this did not solve the problem. I suspect that it may be the MAP sensor but
I want to be sure before I replace it.Anyone have any ideas on this
Thanks

This happened to me a week or two after I bought mine...the battery tested good so we thought it was something else..it ended up being the battery had a dead cell..something about the computer reseting itself or something.

I'm not saying this is what your problem is, but try a different battery first..I had to drive to my mechanic's place on the backroads with feet on both pedals..lol.

Could be a dead cell in the battery. Also did you reset computer b4 you restarted truck after changing tps? If not, truck still thinks old tps is there.

I had asimilar problem with my 99, turned out to be the IAC was crboned up on the tip, not allowing it to seat properly.
