MY D WONT START BATERY CHARGED
HI I HAVE A 1998 D SLT 5.9 4X4 TODAY I WENT TA START IT AND NOTHINIG HAPPEND POWER SEATS STILL WORK ONLY THING THAT DONT IS THE POWER WINDOWS BLOWERMOTER RAER WINDWIPER/DEFROSTER AND THE TUCK WONT TURN OVER I CHECKED BATTERY AND STILL CHARGERD CAAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME[&o]
Does it crank over at all?
If not, it sounds like the batter may be junk.
It takes way more to crank the engine than run a power seat.
Check the terminals on the battery for corrosion and clean them up.
You also may have a dead spot on the starter or a bad solenoid.
Grab a hammer and rap the side of the starter a few times and while you're ther tap a few times on the solenoid.

I have the same problem, all seams to work, the motor cranks, good volts 12.5, I checked the voltage to the coil(green/orange) but have nothing, the cut relay works correctly, however when the ignition is turned on the green orange is a dead short to ground. but when unpluged from the ECU the short to graond isnt there, it seams like a bad ECU, not a short in the harness, but could there be somthing in the system that would shut down the ignition through the ECU but not give a trouble code, or is it a bad ECU????[

IT WONT EVEN CRANK OVER NOT EVEN A CLICK BUT THE BATTERY STILL READS12.85 VOLTS. EVERYTHING ELSE STILL WORKS HEADLIGHT HORN FRONT WIPERS. IT IS JUST THE REAR WIPERS POWERWINDOWS AND IT WONT TURN OVER
If you are able to get your hands on a volt meter, have some one try to turn it over and see if you are getting voltage right at the starter at the solenoid(small wire) and make sure on the heavier cable your getting your voltage.
Have you checked your starter fuse's in the power box under the hood? Also check the relays. Some of them are the same # so you can remove one and replace it with another one in the same power box just to see if one is bad. If one is you can just replace it.
