2000 Durango engine swap 4.7 to 5.2
The 4.7L uses a different transmission than the 5.2L

The engines also have a bunch of electrical differences, I doubt you would be able to use the same electronics on the 5.2 as on the 4.7L.
You would probably be better off pulling the engine out and reabuilding (depending on what killed the engine) it then putting it back in. Or you might be able to get a 4.7 from a junkyard fairly cheap seeing as the engine has been around since 1999.
