Default Fried Spot Light Relay....

Hi,

I made the mistake of asking the dealer here in Saudi to tidy some wiring in the engine compartment - looked like spaghetti with electrical tape...not as daft as it sounds since cars have their engine compartments searched at all check points and non-standard wiring looks very suspicious.

now I know what it did...it controlled the spotlights and I know this because they don't work anymore. Clearly this was an after market kit that someone installed one sunny Sunday afternoon.

They used to work when the main beam was on (only) and I think they shorted out the relay. I was told that that the problem was that my Durango (1999, Magnum 5.9l) required to switch polarity for the lights and the circuitry on the relay that did this was burn't out (...or they burn't it out, but won't admit it since it used to work).

So what do I need to get a pair of spots to work in conjunction with full beam only on the headlights...?? Tried contacting PIAA but they said it wasn't one of their lights having seen photo's. Ideally I just need a new relay. and a circuit diagram for the **** dealer to play with.

Thanks...Chris
