Default New MSD Ignition

Well got another fun toy for my D to put under my belt. Thats right MSD Ignition!
I got most of my parts from MSD but had to buy a couple of parts from Accel to make it fit.
Oh well! It runs like a champ. If anyone needs the part numbers I got em.

I posted this already, but here it is again.

MSD 8.5mm Wires #32189
MSD Blaster Coil #8228
Accel Distributor Cap #120329
Accel Distributor Rotor #130328
Accel OEM Adapter to Coil #14002AH

I had to use some Accel parts because MSD and Mallory don't make them yet.

The truck starts and runs like a champ! Im going to try to gap the Champion Truck Plugs .005 more to handle the new spark without fouling. I will post the results later. These are OEM replacement parts and will bolt up to OEM perfectly.

Dude!

When I get the super charger and some more upgrades to (warrant buying that) or a more upgraded system than that, I'm sure that wont be a problem. The other site members (at least a lot of them) don't have a 500+Hp motor's. Not to mention that this coil I bought isn't even in the MSD computer yet. I had to call a rep and ask them to run a search under a full sized truck to match it up with what us 5.9L D's got.

Like I said it is OEM replacement not full out 500+ Hp only.

Do you have the part number for this coil, or do they even make it yet? Also what part #'s do we need and equiptment, to install that coil into our trucks?

the part number is 121-8253 out of jegs high performance ,you must have a c/d type ignition box or it wont do you any good ,but once you have it you will love it i had to make a small mounting plate for the coil,oh yea make sure your plug wires are in good shape and at least 8mm somthing with low resistance,,,coil coat about $119
