Infinity Speaker Problems!!
You can repair your OEM's. Just check to see if the surround foam been broken. That is the most common problems with the oem speakers.
Then go to the link I mentioned above to get a replacement surround foam.

I just put the Infinity Kappa 63.7s in my truck front and rear. All adapters included and very cheap. With shipping they were under $100 per set on eBay. Crutchfield was more than 2 times this price....
the problem with replacing your OEM speakers with aftermarket when you have the infinity set up is the impedance. infinity used 2ohm speakers instead of the normal 4ohm. so when you replace your speakers, even if you do it one at a time, with leaving the headunit and factory amp, you need to use 2ohm speakers. 2ohm is louder, like when you wire a sub down to 2ohms. if you arent getting good sound out of your replacements, take it out, or look at the box to see if they are 4 or 2ohms. and you'll never get good bass out of aftermarket door speakers unless you are willing to buy the big boys, like mb quart.
check this link, these are nice (not great, but nice) if you are looking to replace blown speakers.

Renewing an old thred!
All four of my 99 D door speakers were broken (foam crumbled).
I know there is a way to repair them but I am too lazy. So I went and got me a pair of Pioneer speakers for the backdoors (none for the front yet...lack of $$$).
Installed em, checked for polarity and man....they sound like SHIAT!
What the heck? At low volume...okay. But you turn it up and the bass is just totally garbled and the sound is really really bad. Won't even listen to music with windows down.
Do you have to have all four speakwers in the car in order for the sound to be right?
The ones I got (for a steal) are TS-G1610R ...and they are 4ohm which I guess matters?
Advise please what needs to be done to get the correct sound and volume back....muuaaahh!
TY!!
