Testing the fuel injectors
If I test the Injectors in my Durango with a voltage meter will it signal to me a plugged injector? Is there any way to test for this? Do gas additives work to clean the injector, I've heard they are a waste of money?
Thanks

No. Pull the injector and open the nossel. I think you do this by supplying 12 volt's to it, but not quite sure about the voltage. Then spray injetor cleaner through it and check spray patterns. If it is bad or plugged it will not open to allow the fluid through. Not to mention your truck will have poor gas milage and possible knock.
As for your question on additives. No additive is regulated by the feds. They can put whatever they want on a bottle and sell it. The consumer just hopes.

Like I said:

If you just put it in it might be the additive. Run the tank all the way out and put some good gas in it.
