I had a similar problem mine would run fine then throw an overcharge warning and would not turn over. The guy I brought my truck from had replaced the alternator and had the wiring checked all to no avail. I did some troubleshooting and traced it to the battery terminals, even though they looked good and showed voltage. I put some nice brass ones on there and everythings working great now. If the treminals lose connection when driving it can do all sorts of weird and wonderfull things to ecu. Hope that helps

Well Alternator Tested fine am waiting for battery charge /and test. Question, if solenoid on starter stuck on would drain battery correct? but if it were stuck on it would make horrible noise while running right?
My terminals are good, new, also previously had problem starting, thought it was starter only bad connection..

if it was stuck then it'd be like you continously trying to crank your truck, kinda like turnin the key after it's already runnin..

Battery Wouldn't take a charge, so obviously couldn't test it. Waiting till next day to hopefully get warranty replacement. If the new battery doesn't solve the problem is there anything that could have drained the battery so low that it ruined it? Am pessamistic, nothing is ever that simple.

Sometimes it is that simple though... Keep your fingers crossed that it was just a lousy battery.

OK, to anyone interested in the conclusion of this situation.

First I had taken my battery to the Local Autozone, they told me it wouldn't take a charge, so couldn't be tested, ok so next day took it to the Advanced Auto Parts store where I bought it, to get free replacement.to do that THEY had to try & charge & test it & get an actuall Error code to replace it, It had a partial charge on it.. go figure they finish charging it, It charges & tests good. (Morons @ Autozone) Anyway, put it in starts, runs fine. My theory of went wrong is this. A minor detail I overlooked, & realized after the fact, That evening of the morning before, My rear window wiper quit, I assumed died, and it wasn't all the way back down. I thought well I'll replace it after awhile, It was no big thing. But after I replaced the Battery, The wiper I had noticed went back down. I think The Blade was stuck & still drwing power to get back down ran battery so low, it couldn't run. Does this sound possible?
