Any tips on code P0442? Advance Auto Parts pulled the code. It says EVAP emission control system leak, small. It is an EGR excessive flow detect. Do I need to go to dealer or what?

Check your gas cap. That code will come on if its not sealing, loose, or defective.

 

Based on the info from the other threads, I checked the gas cap where I found no problems. I then disconnected the battery for a while and the code was reset. If the code comes back, I will get it in to the dealer.
