'00 stock 5.2 liter durango w/100k miles, while in park engine speeds up then slows down, speeds up, then slows down, etc. etc....

any ideas of where to begin to trouble shoot problem?

I have a 2000 Dodge Durango 4.7 L. The voltage when starting goes up and then back down. The alternator was tested "Good" and I replaced the PCM, due to a bad voltage regulator. The PCM was flashed before installing. Can anyone help?

 

Really not necessary to post the same question in multiple long dead threads, in fact its kinda annoying. Is there any real problem with it running or are you just looking at the dash gauge jump and assuming it needs to be "fixed"? We need a little more info to diagnose.

 

Please refrain from posting the same question over and over in multiple threads that are 10, 15, 20 years old. Refer to uyour original thread.
