I am looking at putting an aftermarket DVD player/monitor in my 2001. Does anyone have an electronic copy of headliner removal instructions or at least know how to do it so i do not tear up my ride. Any help would be great--Please Help

 

Good question. I have a '99 that I'm about to put up for sale and I need to fix the headliner as I had a pet divider in it that poked and tore the headliner.

As I was cleaning it up I could see where you might have to take out a lot of the verticle plastic to get to the headliner in an un obstructed way. I hate to say it but you may have to start as low as the door sill cover's and work your way up as it was looking like there was some overlapping of pieces - hopefully not though.

We'll ahve to see what others have to offer.

 

Its a little bit of work. Anything that touchs it has to come out, all the molding that runs to the roof comes out, the visors, overhead console, visors clips and the big button in the middle of the roof(you'll ruin it, order another one).
