I'm curious to know:

1. how many amps will the '01 onboard fan relay carry? It looks like a 50amp fuse?
2. how many spare amps are available in the charging system?
2. where is the onboard coolant temp sensor located?

some of these fans pull up to 30 amps, especially the doubles; the oem fan looks like it pulls about 15, so I need an extra 15. since the '01 already has the compressor clutch and temp sensors, why install new ones?

Mean-G, everythings working fine. I'm currently using a 165 amp alternator and the largest optima yellow top D31 battery that will fit. I also use 50 amp relays and a combination of 40 & 60 amp fuses.

Dman98, welcome to DF...

that is one tight setup you have there.. what did you do use a shoe horn? jk... do I understand it that you stacked the fans? I know on my wifes old Dak there was an e-fan between the rad & clutch fan so i'm not 100% clear on what you did.

I didn't stack the fans, my "D" only came with the clutch fan. The viper fan takes the place of both fans, if your vehicle has two. I have grinded the screw that mounts the fan to the water pump down, as shown in the before and after pics. There are no clearance issues and everything looks stock.

nice. what did it do for your performance?

i'm looking to put a pusher fan to help keep my inner cooler temps down. planning on tying it to the IAT so it kicks on at about 110 deg F. Your setup looks mighty tight... what happens if a motor mount loosens up??? is there enough room there for some movement? being a motorhead as you are, i'm sure the motormounts would be kept in good shape so probably no worries there.
