Default power lock

Hey guys,

My passenger power lock is only working about 25% of the time. Any ideas? Any clue how difficult the door panel is to get off?

My hatch lock did the same thing about 4 years ago. I just used the key, no biggie. About a year ago, it just started working again though. The door lock is a bit more of a problem though...

It is strait forward. Not too hard to get that panel off.

Default RE: power lock

I posted a thread here http://www.durangoclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=26951 that covered door locks and replacing the locks. I start the thread with the what ifs, in the middle we determine the part numbers and prices and the last post covers the entire replacement process with pics.

The locks actuator is akin to the Rubiks Cube. Take you time and keep at it by following the write up instructions and you will get it replaced. With all the bars and parts to the mechanism, just don't rush through it.
