Default Off roading

I'm looking to hit a local "trail" again, its actually an abondoned patch of land under the highway that a lotta dirtbikers, atv's and TJ's use, and the mud here is very thick and heavy a lot like clay. Does anybody know a way to A) stop mud from getting into every opening in the framerails, front cross member, and B) clean clay off w/o resulting to a plastic ice scraper??

last time it took over 3 hours with a pressure washer, if i could cut that in half I'd be really appreciative.

i attatched a couple pics of my D after the last time i went.

Man that looks like fun. As for the clay. I know of nothing you can do. I would definitely get a bigger washer.
