52mm fastman TB, gibson headers, 1.7 crower roller rockers, K&N CAI and a gibson or flowmaster single out exhaust. you will scoot with that setup, it will make towing easier too.

I had the intake Cleaned up and polished. I am going to get a M1 from Dan @ www.thefastman.com. He has a killer set up. He bores and polish's all his intakes. The only thing is he wants $450 for it. You can buy them for about $250-$200 for the regular M1. Kind of don't know which one to go with. I am going to go with a super charger so I'm not sure if I need the nicer on or not.[sm=feedback.gif]

Wow, I did not think Fastman charges that much for his polished M1 intake! Nearly doubled the cost. But it will be worth it if it makes a big difference on performance. Anyone upgraded a regular to fastman's M1 and see any improvements in performance?

I wonder how much fastman will sell a package deal for his 52mm Throttle body and his polished M1 intake?

I tow my racecar many, many miles and I average almost 12 mpg with OD off. I figure my trailer and car are about 5,000 lbs. No fancy add ons, just the factory auxiliary trans oil cooler.

Here is the E-mail Dan sent me when I bought my TB:

TB bolts on with no issues to either manifold.
TB is $219.95, $5 shipping, plus the $80 core deposit to DF members. Free
shipping with the M1.

M1 Intakes I sell as a No Run to the Store Kit. EVERYTHNG included right
down to the Vacuum line. The plenum area is ported removing all the
machining mismatches. $450 for the kit.
If interested in either or both please let me know. I look forward to
helping you meet your performance needs.

Thank You

He Rustin (sp?) if you do get the M1, I'd suggest getting a custom B&G flash done on your pcm to work with the M1. some report a low end loss using the stock pcm or hypertech/superchips programming, the custom flash brings it back. (this is what i've heard, I have no personal experience with it).

you do know the M1 is intended for motors running their power 2500 rpms & up I hope.

One thing I'd suggest on your rig is the 1.7 crower roller rockers. had them on my 2000 ram and they rocked. combined with all the other mods I did to it, the truck would scream from a rolling 70 in OD pretty good. never wanted to downsift which told me it had enough torque for the amount of throttle given. I have to add that I modded the intake manifold on top of all the other mods. that helped breathing significantly above 3000 rpms.
