When replacing an ignition switch, does the steering wheel have to be removed? (98 Durango 5.2) Is there a cheap way of rekeying the ignition? Do the tumblers switch out to the new ignition? Need to run some tests still to see if it is the starter or the ig.

 

Try to jump the solenoid on the starter first. I bet that might be your problem.[&:] But I need more info on the problem first to give you a hand. Give us all the info you got on the rig.
