Its machanical. The cable pulley assembly has came apart. Do a search on this forum. There is a window topic that has a link to a new regulator assembly. The dealer replacement is very expensive, compared.

Oh man, I wished I still have that link to a website that sells the cable assemblies for all domestic and import vehicles. It is very cheap. I had to buy 4 sets of them to replace all 4 doors on my Maxima. The cost without the motor only ran like $25 ea. plus S/H. I'll dig around to see if I can find that link and post it here.

Found it. Partstrain.com

I did a search and no cable assembly (Window regulator) was found for 1st generation Durangos??
