H2O pump
My wife has an 2003 D with 30,000 miles onit.
The water pump crapped out yesterday. I had it fixed in about 2 hours.
Is the water pump going so early a sympton of a bigger problem? I have read about freeze plugs and I cannot see any other coolant leaking from anywhere, looks o.k. to me. It just is very odd that the water pump would crap out like that. The water pump shaft was shot on the bad one, it had alot of play from side to side and in and out. The temp never moved or went higher than "normal" at all during this problem.
My other issue is the rear wiper motor, it does not work. the dealer replaced the old motor with a new one(or so he said) and that did not fix the problem. Is there a way I can check the voltage myself? And what voltage should I be looking for?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
